SINING ZHU 

This installation constructs a surface that appears intact, yet can no longer sustain itself. The ground is built from collected wooden planks and strips of varying sizes and thicknesses, forming an unstable base composed of residual and discarded materials. A layer of uniform commercial grey tiles covers this structure. Due to the uneven foundation, the tiles cannot remain level; they tilt, compress, crack, and lift. Water slowly seeps through and spreads across the surface, not as an event or outcome, but as a continuous process of erosion. The structure no longer provides stability or order, but gradually fails from within.

作品构建了一个看似完整、却已无法维持的结构界面。地面由收集而来的不同尺寸与厚度的木板与木条拼接而成，形成一个由残留与废弃物构成的不稳定基础结构，其上覆盖统一的商业灰色瓷
砖。由于底层的不均，瓷砖无法保持平整，逐渐倾斜、挤压、开裂并隆起。水缓慢渗出，在地表扩散，并不构成事件或结果，而是一种持续发生的侵蚀过程。结构不再提供稳定或秩序，而是在内部逐渐失效。
